Recently, the Welder Examination Committee of National Quality Inspection and Testing Center of Plastics Product ( Fuzhou) of FQII (hereinafter referred to as the "National Plastic Welding Examination Committee") has successfully completed the new certification acquisition and renewal assessment work for non-metal welding operators in the second phase of 2025. This assessment aims to strictly implement the system of requiring special equipment operators to hold certificates to work, and effectively ensure that employees master the necessary professional knowledge and operation skills.
A total of 15 operators from enterprises such as Fujian Aton New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Fujian Changan Gas Co., Ltd., and Fujian Jieqing Construction Development Co., Ltd participated in the assessment. The assessment process strictly followed the relevant standards such as the "Examination Rules for Special Equipment Operators" (TSG Z6001 - 2019) and the "Detailed Rules for the Assessment of Special Equipment Welding Operators" (TSG Z6002 - 2010). Two stages of computer-based theoretical knowledge examination and the practical operation skills assessment, were set up to comprehensively evaluate the candidates' ability levels in welding safety regulations, risk identification, emergency response, and fire protection knowledge. In the practical assessment, the invigilation team focused on strictly checking the key links such as the accuracy of PE (polyethylene) pipeline welding parameters and the standardization of operations, to ensure that this assessment can identify welders with strong professional abilities, and enhance their safety and reliability in welding operations.
Since 2011, the National Plastic Welding Examination Committee of FQII has continuously carried out the assessment work for non-metal welding operators, and has cumulatively assessed nearly a thousand person-times for national welder examination institutions and related enterprises. It has not only transported a large number of qualified technical operators to enterprises, but also effectively strengthened the safety responsibility awareness of employees, providing strong support for the safe operation of regional special equipment and the high-quality development of the industry.
