

Recently, the modern food industry inspection and research center of FQII organized a series of skill training competitions in sampling, driving, business, and technology R&D positions. These activities aimed to enhance professional skills through contests and focused on building a high-quality team of food safety technical support personnel.
The sampling skill competition was conducted in the form of a theoretical examination, covering relevant laws and regulations such as the "Implementation Rules for National Food Safety Supervision and Sampling Inspection (2025 Edition)" and the "Food Safety Sampling and Inspection Work Standards (Document No. 76 [2023] by the Municipal Market Supervision Administration)." A total of 39 sampling personnel participated in the competition, with Xu Xiyin and Fang Peng performing outstandingly and winning the first prize.
Six full-time drivers participated in the driving skill competition, which was conducted in the form of a theoretical examination focusing on the “Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China” and related motor vehicle regulations. Lin Shanming emerged as the top performer and won the first place.
The business position training competition was divided into two sessions. The first session was a specialized skill competition involving three business reception staff members. They competed by randomly selecting nine on-site entrusted inspection samples, with each participant assigned with three samples for timed assessment. Zheng Liya won the first prize. The second session was a comprehensive skill competition for business positions, with ten business personnel participating. The competition covered FQII business related documents, comprehensively evaluating participants' understanding of business processes, operational proficiency, and innovative application abilities. Wei Hexuan won the first prize.
The technology R&D department held a "Food Chemistry Inspector Knowledge Competition," which was conducted in a closed-book format. Six food chemistry inspectors participated, with the competition focusing on various aspects such as foundational knowledge of food chemistry inspection, operational standards, laboratory management requirements, and safety protocols. After intense competition, Lin Bowei and Wang Zheng won the first and second prizes with scores of 97 and 94, respectively.
The skill training competitions effectively ignited the enthusiasm of sampling personnel, drivers, business staff, and R&D professionals to compete, learn, and improve, fostering a positive atmosphere of "studying business, honing skills, and strengthening capabilities". It laid a solid foundation for further enhancement of professional competence in food safety sampling, business, and R&D teams, reinforcing people's safety on the "tip of the tongue".
