In October 2024, FQII was approved by China Quality Certification Center (hereinafter referred to as CQC), and obtained the testing qualification of certification for “restricted use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products” uniformly implemented by the nation, which can provide testing services for 12 categories of products such as refrigerators, printers, copiers, fax machines, televisions, monitors, microcomputers, mobile communication handsets, telephone stand-alones , air conditioners, washing machines and electric water heaters.

    In order to control and reduce the environmental pollution caused by waste of electrical and electronic products and promote cleaner production and comprehensive utilization of resources in the electrical and electronic industry, China restricts and stipulates hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products, and requires that manufacturers of electrical and electronic products are not allowed to take the electrical and electronic products that do not comply with requirements out of the factory and sell them. The certification for restricted use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products is an important embodiment of the compliance of electrical and electronic products with the requirements of Chinese market laws and regulations.
