To further strengthen food safety education and raise food safety risk prevention capabilities of primary school students, FQII recently collaborated with Gulou District Administration Market Regulation and Gulou Court to carry out the law popularization activity of "Saying‘No’to Betel Nuts, Safeguarding Healthy Life" on food safety in Rongqiao Primary School.
Fu Minhao, the director of the Food Research Center in FQII introduced the concept and classification of betel nuts to the students from a professional perspective. By using pictures and typical cases, he guided the students to deeply understand the risk of consuming betel nuts and called for everyone to refuse to consume betel nuts. After the lecture, Director Fu designed a quiz with prizes based on the content of the lecture to enhance the learning outcomes. The students actively participated in the quiz, and firmly mastered the knowledge they learned in a fun and educational way. At the end of the activity, FQII donated more than 200 copies of "Civil Code" publicity manuals and food safety science popularization books to the school, helping it to build a food safety book corner. Also, we encouraged students to actively learn food safety knowledge and protect their physical and mental health.
In the future, FQII will continue to leverage professional advantages, continuously innovate the forms and contents of food safety science popularization, enhance the food safety awareness of students, and protect students' health with practical actions.
