Recently, FQII received a notification of the proficiency testing program result from Testing and Assessment Center of Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine that the result of the proficiency testing “CNCA-22-05 Determination on Bisphenol A Migration in Food Contact Materials and Products” participated by FQII was satisfactory.

    Bisphenol A is used in the production of a variety of polymer materials and as a heat stabilizer for some plastic products. At present, plastic products have been widely used in life, and when the plastic products are heated and cleaned, bisphenol A will migrate and thus enter human bodies with eating behaviors, thereby causing harm to human bodies. Therefore, the quality of food contact materials related to bisphenol A has become a hot spot in recent years, and the detection of bisphenol A transfer volume in food contact materials and products is of non-negligible significance.

    The satisfactory result of this proficiency testing reflects the excellent technical ability of FQII in the detection of bisphenol A migration in food contact materials and products, which can better serve enterprises and the society.
