Recently, UK’s designated National Measurement Institute for chemical and bioanalytical measurements (LGC) informed FQII that its four proficiency tests-“detection of ractopamine, albuterol, terbutaline and clenbuterol in pork powder”, “detection of arsenic, lead and cadmium in canned meat” ,“detection of Salmonella species in oatmeal”, “detection of aflatoxin B1 in corn flour”- have all gained satisfactory results.

Proficiency testing is an effective means to evaluate the laboratory’s testing ability and also an effective measure to continuously improve the laboratory’s quality management system. FQII has been constantly concentrating on capacity building, participating actively in proficiency tests home and abroad, accumulating proficiency testing experience and improving the professional technical capability, so as to be more experienced and competent. Passing the above-mentioned LGC proficiency tests successfully reflects FQII’s accurate testing results as well as reliable testing ability.
