Recently, ZHOU Cong, a senior engineer from FQII, participated in the drafting kick-off meeting of “Technical Standards for Application of Fire-resistant Coatings for Steel Structures on Both Sides of the Taiwan Straits” as a main compiler of the standard, which is the local standard of construction engineering in Fujian.

    The “Technical Standards for Application of Fire-resistant Coatings for Steel Structures on Both Sides of the Taiwan Straits” is a key scientific and technological project of the Fujian Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-rural Development, which is the local standard of construction engineering in Fujian, and mainly combines the performance of fire-resistant coatings for steel structures in China’s mainland and Taiwan currently, to make more clear regulations on site construction and acceptance, etc. Clear regulations on the standard preparation requirements and the standard preparation progress are made at the meeting. The experts from FQII said that they would lead members of the standard preparation team to speed up the standard preparation progress, strictly control the quality of standard preparation and strive to complete the revision work as soon as possible according to the requirements of the meeting.
