Recently, FQII has obtained the laboratory qualification for energy efficiency label testing of new flat-panel TVs and set-top boxes, which becomes the only third-party testing organization in Fujian that can provide enterprises with energy efficiency label testing services of flat-panel TVs and set-top boxes. At present, FQII has accumulatively possessed the laboratory qualifications for energy efficiency label testing of 15 types of products such as flat-panel TVs, power transformers and positive displacement air compressors.

    In April of this year, the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration for Market Regulation issued new implementation rules for energy efficiency labeling of flat-panel TVs and set-top boxes, which will be implemented on August 1, 2021. In order to help flat-panel TV and set-top box enterprises to achieve seamless integration with the new implementation rules, FQII has carried out forward-looking research and technological breakthrough, and has successfully become the only third-party testing organization in Fujian that can provide enterprises with energy efficiency label testing services of flat-panel TVs and set-top boxes. At present, FQII has issued energy efficiency label testing reports for many enterprises in Fujian in accordance with the new rules, helped enterprises to greatly shorten the product launch cycle, and meanwhile provided strong technical support for the high-quality development of green and low-carbon industries and the realization of energy-saving and carbon-reduction goals in Fujian.
